Haringa Compressor Inc is currently looking to expand our service department and seeking (3) additional full-time Field Service Technicians and Pipe-Fitters/Installers.  As an industry leader, we offer competitive wages and benefits for both Advanced and Entry Level technicians.  This position reports to the Service Manager, whom under direct supervision, will perform maintenance tasks as well as troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field in a safe and professional manner.

General Responsibilities Include :
  • Perform equipment routine maintenance duties  (Replacing filters, oil, valves, belts, and service parts;  checking equipment for air and oil leaks or related problems, cleaning up after each service visit, documenting work completed and reporting to the customer.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of industrial equipment- Field repairs.
  • Provide assistance to other technicians as needed.
  • Assist and coordinate with pick-up and delivery of parts for the required work to be performed.
  • Equipment to be serviced include:  Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand Centac, AF Compressor, Sullair, Quincy,
    Kobelco, Gardner, Chicago Pneumatic, Hitachi, Zeks, Ultrafilter, Donaldson, and more.
  • Various other service duties.
SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION  Qualified ‘Advanced-Level’  Technicians must possess the following :
  • Minimum of 5-Years of Industry Experience
  • Rotary & Compressed Air System Training
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level understanding and application of special tools
  • Electrical comp0nent trouble shooting knowledge
  • Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
  • Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills
SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION  Qualified ‘Entry-Level’  Technicians must possess the following :
  • Minimum of 3-Years of Technical Experience
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge and understand of mechanical tools
  • Basic electrical components identification knowledge
  • Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
  • Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills
INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITION  Qualified Pipe-Fitter / Installer must possess the following :
  • Have related experience in plumbing and fitting pipe
  • Experience in working with Copper Pipe, Black Iron Pipe, and/or stainless steel
  • Understanding how to apply local codes and standards for pipe installations
  • Good verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of tools and equipment to complete industrial installations
  • Valid CA drivers license ( Company Service Truck will be provided )
  • Demonstrate a team-work attitude and possess good customer service skills

Parts Specialist / Service Coordinator ( California )

We are seeking a Parts Specialist to Coordinate quotes and part requirements for service work-orders.  This role is responsible for the effective parts ordering and management of new service orders; in addition to internal and external customer’s requests for price quotes, order changes, adjustments, cancellations, order tracking, and returns.

Excellent task-based and management skills, strong attention to detail, and analytical ability is a must; must be flexible, self-starter, ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands; ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of organization; able to work both independently and as a team member in a diverse workforce.  Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow up skills.  Previous customer service experience and the energy and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers is a must.

Job Requirements
  • Manage internal and external customer request promptly and professionally
  • Create work orders for new and additional service requests
  • Confirm POs, credit, and billing information prior to assigning and shipping parts
  • Process price quotes, work orders, order changes, adjustments, cancellations, and order tracking
  • Determine lead-time to produce all elements in a given job and confirming order completeness
  • Accurate data entry of quotes, orders, distribution lists, shipping lists & billing lists; verifies pertinent data
  • Regularly update service department of job status and communicate to all interested parties
  • Coordinate and communicate due dates and job status with technicians, customers and management
  • Maintain parts inventory and staging area for accountability and assignment to work orders
  • Communicate customer concerns and requirements to management
  • Assist in the training of new customer service staff
  • Maintain a professional attitude in a high pace environment
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to work independently
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in technical customer service and managing multiple projects
  • High School diploma or equivalent – College course work preferred.
  • Supervisory work experience is a plus
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

Aggressive business-to-business sales experience as well as experience in generating leads, cold calling and working off referrals is important. Strong hands-on skills needed for new equipment commissioning and shop support.
